Coming up quick, this weekend in fact, is Taste Dundee, featuring 25 wineries pouring artisan-crafted wines from the Dundee Hills AVA in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Last year Taste Dundee tickets sold out and this year is predicted to be even more popular! If tickets are still available, this event should definitely be on your hit-list.

Sip award-winning wines paired with delicious small bites and live music for an unforgettable afternoon in the beautiful Oregon wine country.?VIP Tickets ($50) allow a full hour to mix and mingle with winemakers before the general admission ($30 in advance). A limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door ($40). The VIP reception will be limited to 100 guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each of the wineries will pour two wines. There will be small bites prepared by local Dundee restaurants, along with bread and cheese. But don’t expect lunch. Food trucks will be onsite to provide food for purchase.
Taste Dundee is held during Oregon Wine Month and is a celebration of Dundee area wineries. The event was created to showcase the terroir of the Dundee Hills AVA. The event is in its third year and will include 25 participating wineries (half of which are from the Dundee Hills Winegrowers Association) the other half are local wineries and past participants of the event.
The first year the event was held in Dobbes Estate Winery parking lot and last year was in Dobbes barrel room. This year, look for the tent in Billick Park in Dundee?and hope for sunny weather.
Mixed cases of wine are available for purchase at a 10% discount and mixed 12-bottle purchases are available at a 20% discount.
